The 2027 COSSBA National Conference and Unified Boards Alliance (UBA) Preconference Day Call for Proposals is now open.
We invite school board members, superintendents, education leaders, practitioners, and partners to submit engaging, solutions-focused presentations. The COSSBA National Conference seeks sessions that provide practical strategies, innovative ideas, and actionable insights to strengthen governance, leadership, advocacy, and public education. The UBA Preconference Day focuses on strengthening school board governance to improve student success by helping board members identify and address the barriers that impact learning. We encourage proposals that share proven practices, meaningful discussions, and practical strategies that boards and districts can implement to remove obstacles, expand opportunities, and improve outcomes for every student.

To submit your proposal for the UBA Preconference Day and COSSBA National Conference, please follow these steps:

Prepare Your Proposal: Outline your presentation, including the objectives, key points, and potential impact on public education. Conference track information

Submit Online: Visit our Proposal Submission Page and complete your proposal online. Ensure you provide all required information and supporting documents. Use the Proposal Submission button to start the process.

Review Process: Our selection committee will review all proposals and notify selected presenters by December 18, 2026.

All accepted presenters at the 2027 COSSBA National Conference/UBA Preconference Day are required to register to participate. A special discounted registration rate will be available for confirmed presenters.
