Congressional Budget Reconciliation and the Impact on Schools Toolkit - UPDATED July 2

Thank you for taking action to ensure your members of Congress know the importance of investments in public education, school health, and nutrition in the budget reconciliation process. On this page, you’ll find a template and sample letter, a template board resolution on Medicaid, as well as the contact information for key Congressional staff. The slides from the recent COSSBA webinar on budget reconciliation are also posted below.

Please be sure to complete the COSSBA Advocacy Survey, which will help our team better represent your state and district to policymakers! If possible, please share the survey QR code (link to the QR code they can download) or link with other colleagues in your state who may be interested. Answer as much or as little of the survey as you can – but every new story and data point helps us be better advocates for you in Washington.
